Join library staff on the Roof Garden to Boost Biodiversity

As part of our commitment to the Green Libraries Manifesto, the Library is seeking your help in taking steps toward supporting local biodiversity.

Staff are invited to join us in creating a wildflower meadow on the roof garden. This hands-on event is a great opportunity to contribute to a greener, more sustainable campus while supporting pollinators and local wildlife.

Please bring comfortable (weather-appropriate) clothes, gardening gloves (if you have them), some water and suncream, and your enthusiasm! It would also be useful if you could bring gardening tools with you, such as a spade or trowel, but not necessary.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just curious to get involved, everyone is welcome. Let’s work together to make our rooftop bloom!

Meet on the library's roof garden (level 2) from 1pm. The event will run until 4pm, so feel free to join for as much or as little as you'd like.
